Student Guide
Our exciting new apprenticeship programme is aimed at a new generation of electrical engineers. GTEC recognises that apprentices can often feel frustrated and lacking in the relevant knowledge whilst training. We will ensure that you are able to be actively engaged and feel useful to your employer from the start of your apprenticeship. Don't forget that you will be paid throughout your training programme by your employer.GTEC's unique delivery method is residentially based over the three years in block releases of 5 days (4 nights) with us, followed by 5 weeks with your employer, throughout the programme. It includes free additional courses & qualifications that are not normally found on an Electrotechnical apprenticeship.
What will you get from it?
You will be able to develop your skills & knowledge to carry out a range of work activities to work responsibly as an individual and where necessary guide the work of other people. It will give you ahead start in your career as an Electrical Engineer.

Training for this enhanced government funded programme is available free of charge for apprentices aged 16-18 (at the start of training). For apprentices aged 19+, an additional contribution is required.
