GTEC's Apprenticeship +Plus+ Programme

Undertaking an advanced apprenticeship with GTEC not only means completing the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment.  GTEC's unique programme also includes additional courses & qualificationsfree of charge.

The apprenticeship will cover underpinning knowledge delivered in modules and will provide apprentices with the required practical skills associated with Electrical contracting, all of which they can undertake by attending block release courses at our brand new residential building and services technology centre, Hawes, North Yorkshire. Performance units are achieved through on-site assessments and the completion of a portfolio of evidence.

We cover all aspects of the Advanced Apprenticeship from classroom teaching and practical lessons to on-site assessments. We are accredited to hold all of the necessary assessments here at our centre, including the Electrotechnical Assessment of Occupational Competence (AM2).

Our exciting new apprenticeship programme is aimed at a new generation of electrical engineers. Training for this enhanced government funded programme is available free of charge for apprentices aged 16-18. (At the start of their training).

GTEC's unique delivery method is residentially based over the three years in block releases and includes additional courses & qualifications that are not normally found on an Electrotechnical apprenticeship.
