GTEC Centre

GTEC have built a multipurpose building that can deliver a range of services to potential and existing clients. The build incorporates the very highest specification materials to ensure it can operate to high energy efficiency standards. The centre has an integrated energy room incorporating several different renewable sources. From LED lighting, 5,000 litres of stratified thermal store, Ground and Air source Heatpumps, Solar thermal through to the 26kWp PV array, everything is available to the students to work with so that they get real hands on experience of these technologies within a fully operational building. Uniquely GTEC also have residential facilities on the site which are a part of the training facility. This means that the students can be completely immersed in the technologies they are studying. This is available for national and international students and GTEC work closely with clients, creating bespoke training packages including a fully catered residential facility. |
