To find us in Hawes

Hawes is situated in the Penines at 900ft above sea level. It is surrounded by hills and moors reaching up to 2,000ft. The route to the East is the only route avoiding travel over the hills.

There are two major motorway routes to the West the M6, and to the East the A1, which is part motorway and dual carriage way with several sections upgraded recently to 3 lanes very recently.

There is no recommended route from the North which involves 'B' roads and unclassified roads. During snowfalls in the winter months please check with GTEC or motor agencies of the local travel conditions.
